Daniel, currently a Lead Application Engineer, started his career at Corterra after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019 with a degree in Computer Engineering. While obtaining his degree, Daniel built his skillset working in various roles in IT support. Upon joining Corterra, Daniel immediately started building on top of Corterra’s existing ERP experience through developing transformative solutions in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. One of Daniel’s greatest skills is to take business requirements and develop a technical prototype regardless of the requirement. He has a knack for creative technical solutions and problem solving.
Outside of enhancing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Daniel has built out our technical toolset, automating repetitive actions to obtain efficiency using Azure Dev Ops and Power Shell. This efficiency has enabled Corterra to deliver quality solutions faster. While his focus has been on ERP, he has also worked on a variety of miscellaneous projects. For example, a client desired to transition from one system to another. The third-party system did not have an effortless way to extract all the data and associated documents. Daniel was able to extract data programmatically, transform it, and store it in a SQL database, along with references to related files. The client was incredibly pleased with this effort to archive the historical data for transition to a new system.
