Current Role At Corterra Solutions, Sunny specializes in building and extending business applications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. - On-Premises Deployment of Business Central | Benefits and Drawbacks
Most deployments of Dynamics 365 Business Central are SaaS in the Microsoft cloud. With that said, there is an on-remises, self-hosted deployment option. - Team Member Spotlight: Megan Elliott
The Corterra team is happy to spotlight Megan Elliott in this edition of our Team Member Spotlight. Educated in Systems Engineering and Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Megan joined Corterra as a Special Projects Consultant in 2021. Throughout her tenure, Megan has supported a wide variety of client needs and implemented numerous new features, showcasing her versatility and dedication. Megan has executed numerous successful projects, including an HR Information Systems software assessment and HITRUST compliance deployment. She also led the successful deployment of the Dynamics 365 Asset Management maintenance system across three manufacturing facilities in the US. This project included implementation, data migration, and training for over 75 maintenance technicians, supporting more than 5,000 assets and preventive maintenance schedules. Through those successes, she was promoted to Senior Business Systems Analyst in 2023. Recently, Megan is broadening her skillset more through implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance for a global distributor and manufacturer. With legal entities in over 20 countries, this project involves complex financial integrations, process optimizations, and extensive user training, ensuring a smooth transition and enhanced financial operations for the client once live. Megan’s ability to adapt and meet diverse client requirements has made her an invaluable asset to our team . Q&A Q: What is your favorite part about working at Corterra Solutions? My favorite part of working here is that I am constantly learning something new. Since each client and each project are totally different from another, every day presents a new challenge! Being able to learn and dive into multiple business processes has greatly increased my knowledge across a multitude of topics in just a couple of years. The opportunities for learning and growing are truly endless! Q: What are three words to describe Corterra Solutions? Innovative, determined, & adaptive Q: How do you like to spend your time when you are not working? I love hanging out with my friends, going to concerts, or watching reality TV. Q: What are some interesting things about you that people might not know about you? I am a big reader and am always trying to challenge myself by choosing a wide array of genres. I’m always accepting book recs!

- Corterra Team Member: Will Parker
Learn more about Corterra team member and Manager, Solution Delivery, Will Parker Will Parker Manager, Solution Delivery Will facilitates delivery of solutions for Corterra working with clients, functional consultants, and the development teams to deliver value and solve business problems with technology. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Information and Decision Sciences, Will started his career with Corterra Solutions in 2016 as a Developer. His initial projects involved optical character recognition for forms processing using the Monarch software, report writing, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM configuration and extension. Will's experience includes leading the development and configuration efforts for a client with international operations in over twenty-six different countries. Through diligence, determination, and excellent communication, Will earned his current position, Lead Developer, managing a team of developers and working directly with clients to gather requirements and solve business problems. He is endorsed by his colleagues for his skills in SQL Server, SSIS, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Outside of technical skills, Will has an ability to think freely and find creative solutions to difficult problems to deliver value for Corterra’s clients. In addition to his existing skills, Will is actively learning new cloud technologies in Microsoft Azure, the Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 Business Central to continue to drive value for Corterra's clients and address their challenges.
