You will collaborate with other subject matter experts in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Trade and Logistics to design and configure technology solutions that drive our clients' strategic goals. You'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving and developing technology solutions that address our clients’ high-priority initiatives and collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm. The successful candidate will be working with software developers, other business analysts and client project managers to resolve issues, enhance controls, streamline processes and recommend and implement business process improvements. The Financial Systems Analyst will participate in the design of the accounting data flow, accounting processes, and financial and analytical reports. The Financial Systems Analyst will have a solid background in accounting and a high level of interest in information systems and technology. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Financial Systems Analyst (FSA) is responsible for understanding the functional application, business operations and technical flow of any application. The FSA should have application knowledge but also be able to fully explain the operational workflow. The FSA should be able to understand how requirements impact both the technical and functional nature of an application. This is a technical role, one in which an analyst can drive business decisions based on application and technical expertise. The FSA will provide ongoing application support for clients' accounting systems using Dynamics 365 and will also help them continuously modify/enhance their configuration as their needs change. Responsibilities include: • Supporting accounting systems – supporting accounting users, migrating from one accounting system to another, deploying and implementing new system • Supporting the design of Financial Systems • Migrating General Ledger / Chart of Accounts • Supporting Month End Processing • Supporting Multi-Currency processing • Contributing to critical phases of system delivery, including requirements, design, development, training, data conversion, testing and maintenance to achieve the successful development and implementation of the customer’s business needs • Supporting end user requests with investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of system incidents • Managing his/her queue of projects and tasks • Understanding business processes to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements • Working closely with other business process analysts and domain experts (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, other Financial Analysts and Project Manager) to ensure optimization of entire enterprise solution EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems with a strong accounting background.
